Opa Cupa

Opa Cupa FlagBosnia

Opa Cupa is an American Tribal Fusion Choreography, originally choreographed by Rachel Brice, Mardi Love and Zoey Jakes ("The Indigo"). Schadia stylized the dance and reintroduced a lot of traditional Balkan style folk dancing into our version of this dance. The fabulously addictive chorus "Oh Opa cuppa?!" means "won’t you dance?!" and it is a wild and crazy call to the dance floor. It's an exciting romp of a song that combines Balkan/Eastern European gypsy style horns and accordian music with an upbeat and energetic dancehall vibe. So... imagine that you are in the outskirts of Belgrad, the traveling gypsies have set up their tents, the fires are lit, and finally the dancing gets started. Come, won't you dance!?! Ohhhhhhh Opa Cupa!
