They are dyed in large batches, so you are guaranteed to get the same color if you order multiple of the same color. They are also pre-washed and ironed, giving them the extra silky feeling and floating properties.

There is no comparison to the beauty and feeling of sensuous silk flowing around you. If you have never danced with silk, you owe it to yourself to buy one of these diaphanous veils and give it a spin. After all, you deserve the best!
A silk veil can be used to create a dramatic entrance, or in a performance as part of the choreography. The famous dance of the seven veils comes to mind, dual silk veil dances, or a single veil dance.
Why dance with Silk? That's easily answered. Once you use Silk, you'll never want to dance with anything else! Silk floats much better than any other fabric. It takes very little to twirl gracefully, and silk makes a delicious sound when spun through the air. Try it in comparison with any lesser quality veil and you'll see and feel the difference. Other materials, like chiffon, work very well as a substitute for a fishnet, especially if they are hemmed with coins, preventing any flow through the air.

Care for Silk Veils

When your veil or other silk item becomes soiled, you can either hand wash it, or you can wash it on the delicate cycle of your washing machine in cold water with a mild soap (like Ivory liquid). Put a little liquid fabric softener in the rinse water, dry it on the lowest dryer setting or hang it up to dry. Please do not use dryer sheets to soften your veil and cut down on static cling. The dryer sheets leave residue on your veil that will ruin it. I strongly recommend against using commercial washing machines and dryers, because they are much too harsh on delicate silk.
